Dit zijn extra projecten die ik onder het kopje diversen geplaatst heb. Het is onmogelijk om al het werk te laten zien, dus mijn portfolio is een selectie geworden van werk waar ik achter sta. Ook zit er werk bij dat ik laat zien uit pure nostalgie.

Firma Fiep is opgericht door 2 enthousiaste meiden met pit. Ze maken de leukste kinderkamers en speelruimtes op maat. Anne en Ingrid stylen deze tot in de puntjes. Firma Fiep wilde een nieuw karaktertje, een beetje stoer maar wel aaibaar, deze Fiep is het geworden!

Caplan kwam bij mij met de vraag of ik een groente-en fruittas wilde ontwerpen voor Ekoplaza. Het logo is een grafische vertaling van de dwarsdoorsnede van een mandarijn en een ui. De klant kan via het platform menu's uitzoeken die passen bij de inhoud van de tas.
Caplan asked me if I wanted to design a fruit and vegetable bag for Ekoplaza. The logo is a graphic translation of the cross section of a mandarin and onion. The customer can use the platform to select menus that match the contents of the bag.

Arne Cycling Gear is ontstaan vanuit de gedachte dat de klassieke wielerkleding stijlvoller kan, eigenwijzer soms. Arne vroeg een koerspetje te illustreren, ik koos voor de eigenwijze stijl. Ik mocht maken wat ik wilde en dat heb ik dan ook gedaan met een grote glimlach op mijn gezicht. Het gaat over fietsen en banden plakken met Simson solutie.
The idea behind Arne Cycling Gear is that the classic cycling clothing can be more stylish, cheeky sometimes. Arne asked to illustrate a course cap, I opted for the cheeky style. I was allowed to make what I wanted and I did that with a big smile on my face. It's about cycling and sticking tires with Simson Solution.

MISTER DESIGN
Met merken als Carl Hansen, Hay, Muuto, Ferm Living, MDF Italia, Vitra, Kartel, Ligne Roset, Artifort, Moooi, Pastoe, Ruijch, Gervasoni, Tom Dixon is MisterDesign een geweldige webshop op gebied van hedendaags interieurdesign. Met twee winkels in Den Bosch en één in Berlijn biedt MisterDesign zowel online als offline een brede collectie aan. De opdracht begon met het ontwerp van een bestelbus en vrachtwagen, waarvoor ik op iconische wijze meubels en andere producten heb geïllustreerd die samen een krachtig beeld vormen. De bus valt op tussen al het verkeer, ik word er altijd heel vrolijk en ook wel een beetje hebberig van als ik die zie rijden. In deze lijn is de rest van de corporate identity opgezet.

Linda is wetenschappelijk expert in strategisch portfolio management en grondlegger van de portfolio methodiek. Sonja heeft jarenlange ervaring als CEO en een bewezen trackrecord in het transformeren van complexe organisaties in dynamische markten. Samen hebben zij hun expertise en kracht gebundeld in Jigseye. Jigseye ontwikkelde een portfolio framework, waardoor glashelder wordt welke producten en projecten een antwoord bieden op ontwikkelingen in de markt én bijdragen aan de huidige resultaten of strategie. Overzicht en focus zijn de sleutel tot succesvolle strategie implementatie. Op basis hiervan kan worden besloten met welke activiteiten door te gaan, welke aan te passen en vooral ook welke te stoppen. Prioriteiten zijn in kaart gebracht. Stapelen en overload behoort hiermee tot de verleden tijd. Illustratie in combinatie met fotografie was voor mij de manier om hen hun hun visie te laten overbrengen.

Hallo Kindercoaching helpt kinderen en jong volwassenen op diverse persoonlijke vlakken. Eeke Hallo, begeleid kinderen die niet lekker in hun vel zitten. Hierbij kun je denken aan kinderen die niet goed meekomen op school; kinderen in een loyaliteitsconflict bij een echtscheiding; kinderen die gepest worden, of die juist zélf pesten. Ook kun je denken aan kinderen met een verminderd zelfvertrouwen, of die kampen met faalangst. Dit zijn slechts enkele voorbeelden. Eeke wilde een boom als uitgangspunt gebruiken voor haar logo, die staat voor een stevige basis die zo ontzettend belangrijk is voor een kind.

Artlab is een serie hobbyproducten gericht op kinderen. De opdracht was een verpakkingslijn te ontwikkelen die fantasieprikkelend zou gaan werken en die uitnodigt tot creatie. De illustraties op deze verpakkingen gaan iets aan met het product. De ene keer wordt een rij kleurpotloden gebruikt door bergbeklimmers terwijl je je een andere keer ineens in een Tour de France etappe bevindt.
Artlab is a series of hobby products meant for children. We were asked to develop a packaging line that would stimulate fantasy and would invite creativity. The illlustrations on these packagings establish a relationship with the product. Sometimes a row of crayons is used by mountain climbers or you suddenly find yourself in one of the stages in the Tour de France.

XPOOOS
Xpooos is een sokkenlabel dat veel aandacht besteed aan de nieuwste modekleuren en modellen. Het hert heb ik geschilderd voor de speciale kerstuitgave van Xpoos, waarbij het gewei de kans bood de sokken op een ludieke wijze te presenteren.

JHERONIMUS BOSCH 500 Wolda Merit Award 2011
In 2016, herdacht 's-Hertogenbosch Jheronimus Bosch, de beroemdste schilder van de stad, die 500 jaar geleden leefde. Hoogtepunt was de grote overzichtstentoonstelling van Bosch' werk in het Noordbrabants museum. Studio Kluif werd gevraagd alle producties van deze manifestatie vorm te geven. Studio Kluif ontwierp een icoon als belangrijkste communicatiemiddel. Het portret van Bosch werd opgebouwd uit combinaties van symbolen van verschillende thema's: dans, theater, design, beeldende kunst, multimedia, film, onderzoek, literatuur. Aan deze opbouw van het logo heb ik meegewerkt. Er ontstond een groeiende serie logo's zonder dat de herkenbaarheid in het geding kwam.

Intratuin verkoopt onder andere verpakkingen voor katten-en hondenvoer. Voor mij een uitdaging om dit op een ongebruikelijke vorm te geven. Mijn idee om de honden en katten te fotograferen zoals je ze tegen komt op social media is niet gekozen. Het is toch leuk om de schetsen te laten zien, daar word je vrolijk van. De foto's zijn letterlijk van internet geplukt, het was uitdrukkelijk nog in de schetsfase. De dieren kregen een naam en op social media zou je hun leven kunnen volgen. Jammer dat het bij een idee is gebleven.

Da Pizza, een restaurant waar je heerlijk authentiek Italiaanse gerechten geserveerd krijgt. Het bedrijf is opgezet door een Italiaanse familie die recepten gebruikt die van generatie op generatie zijn doorgegeven. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. In het restaurant worden zelfgemaakte producten uit Italië verkocht.

VINCENTS TEKENLOKAAL
Als jongen van dertien kwam Vincent in 1866 in Tilburg wonen. Zijn school zat in het huidige Paleis-Raadhuis. Daar kreeg hij ook zijn eerste tekenlessen van Constant Huijsmans, een vernieuwer. Hij wakkerde het talent van Vincent aan. Vandaag de dag, 150 jaar later, worden de kinderen nog steeds geïnspireerd. Vincents Tekenlokaal richt zich op kunsteducatie en (teken)talentontwikkeling van kinderen en jongeren. Er zijn regelmatig workshops. Ik hielp mee aan de ontwikkeling van het logo en de uitrol op flyers.

Bloomdale is een Nederlands brillenmerk. Studio Kluif heeft gebouwd aan de algehele uitstraling van het merk. Zelf heb ik gewerkt aan het ontwerp voor een beurswand en aan de actie specifiek voor Pasen.

Concept Factory wilde graag een logo voor Pak & Plant, een concept dat zij ontwikkelde voor Intratuin. Hun concept wordt op een heel eenvoudige wijze uitgelegd door middel van de illustraties.

De Brigade Speciale Beveiligingsopdrachten (BSB) van de marechaussee beschikt over beveiligings-, observatie- en arrestatieteams. De BSB wordt ingezet wanneer snel, specialistisch optreden nodig is. Voor deze speciale brigade mocht ik een embleem ontwerpen.

DE BACKER
De Backer wilde een verpakking voor Likorette met een Bossche uitstraling. Drie prachtige highlights van de stad 's-Hertogenbosch kozen we als uitgangspunt voor het ontwerp. De draak, de St.Jan en uiteraard de Dieze die onder de stad door loopt. Als je de drie flessen naast elkaar zet vliegen de vogels vanaf de Dieze, over de draak naar de St.Jan, waar een verliefd stelletje elkaar kust.

The dragon, Saint John Cathedral and the river Dieze which runs under the city. When you place the three bottles next to one another the birds fly from the Dieze, over the dragon to St.John cathedral where a couple in love are kissing.

Binnen de Jherominus verpakkingslijn is er ook een speciale lijn voor kinderen ontwikkeld. Het brutale Nimus poppetje heeft iemand anders in dienst bij Studio Kluif getekend, ook in lachende vorm hoor! De uitdaging voor mij was om het gele elastiek dat om deze verjaardagskalender zit twee functies te geven. Het houdt niet alleen de pagina’s vast, maar het is tegelijk ook een illustratief element in de afbeeldingen van iedere maand.

PARADE WIJN
De Parade is een reizend theater festival. Het vindt plaats tijdens de zomermaanden. Er is muziek, theater en lekker eten. Bij lekker eten hoort goede wijn. De Parade heeft zijn eigen biologische wijn. Deze wijn is er in de gebruikelijke varianten: rood, rosé en wit. De illustratie op dit ‘La petite danseuse’ wijnetiket is van mijn hand.

Mees is een Nederlands kinderkledingmerk. Het merk omhelst niet elke trend of hype. Vanaf de start is gevraagd de vormtaal, huisstijl, kledingprints, badges, uitnodigingen en fotografie van Mees te bedenken: stoer en no nonsense. Ik was erbij vanaf de start en mocht vele prints voor kleding bedenken. Erg leuk om te doen!
